West African countries have postponed a key meeting scheduled for Saturday on the deployment of an intervention force to restore President Mohamed Bazoum kidnapped and overthrown in a coup in Niger. According to Louis Magloire Keumayou, president of the African Information Club, “the refusal front is starting to be quite important”. Diplomacy remains privileged.
