Resumed Operations: Major Australian Ports Back in Business After Cyber Attack

Three days following a cyber attack, several major ports in Australia have resumed operations. The container terminals in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Fremantle are back in operation, port operator DP World said on Monday. The company expects to handle 5,000 containers at the four ports throughout the day. According to industry experts, this corresponds almost to the usual daily volume.
