Al-Marsad Newspaper – Agencies: The curtain has fallen on the finals of the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup, which Qatar hosted between November 20 and December 18, with the Argentine national team being crowned at the expense of its French counterpart.
32 teams participated in the “Qatar 2022” World Cup, which was divided into 8 groups, from which the winners and runners-up qualified.
The Saudi national team blew up a heavy-caliber surprise, by inflicting the only defeat on the Argentine national team, which was crowned World Cup champion “Qatar 2022”, but suffered two consecutive defeats after that, and failed to reach the round of 16 of the tournament and settled for 25th place among all 32 teams.
