The Edmond Lay pavilion, whose city of Tarbes is the owner, was built in 1981 by the architect whose name it bears on the site of the Place au Bois bus station. It first served as a rest stop.

In 2005, development work was carried out with the aim of changing the destination of the building and creating a Health Prevention Space.

Create a fast food space

He then hosted the ADMR association and is now awaiting his new assignment.

For this, it will be the subject of a notice of call for applications for the creation of a fast food space.

Its surface area of ​​64 m2 allows for a layout in two parts: a dining area of ​​35 m2 and a kitchen area of ​​29 m2. The exploitation of a terrace is envisaged.

Valuing this new place

Ideally located, it will contribute to the enhancement of this new square and the revitalization of the city centre.

The annual occupancy fee (premises and terrace) will be €4,000 in 2023, calculated in proportion to the months actually used.
