Point guard Ricky Rubio, who signed last week for Barça, with whom he has begun training after separating from the NBA to take care of his mental health, is the big news on Spanish coach Sergio Scariolo’s list for the games against Latvia and Belgium, from the Eurobasket 2025 qualifying phase.
In this way, Rubio returns to the Spanish team after announcing a competitive break from which he has not yet returned during the concentration with which the last 2023 World Cup was prepared in Japan, the Philippines and Indonesia.
Spain will gather on February 19 in Zaragoza and will play a total of two games, on Thursday, February 22 in the Aragonese city against Latvia and on February 25 in Charleroi against Belgium.
