Ried forced to rotate | Nachrichten.at

Away at Kapfenberger SV (6:10 p.m.), Ried coach Maximilian Senft is forced to make changes: Nikki Havenaar and Oliver Steurer are suspended, Wilfried Eza is not there due to injury. Instead of Havenaar, Nemanja Celic could be tested in a position that he already knows from his previous LASK days: centrally in the back three. Youngster Fabian Rossdorfer is likely to come into the team for attacker Eza. Philipp Pomer could also celebrate his starting eleven comeback after his serious knee injury.

It is currently uncertain how long the 26-year-old will continue to play in Ried. Pomer’s contract expires in the summer – ongoing discussions have not yet led to an agreement. David Ungar’s departure is already certain: his contract will not be extended. Following the separation from Rainer Wöllinger, the position of managing director will also be vacant from summer onwards. One possibility would be for sports director Wolfgang Fiala to take over this position. Discussions have already been held with ex-Rieders Lukas Gabriel and Valentin Frank.

Matchplan #018

Storm – LASK | BW Linz – WAC

“Away against Sturm Graz, LASK is a clear outsider,” says OÖN sports editor Günther Mayrhofer before the top game of the 25th round of the Bundesliga.
