Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan affirmed his country’s support for the Libyan-Libyan solution under the auspices of the United Nations Mission.
This came during his meeting with the head of the United Nations Mission to Libya, Abdullah Batili, today in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
The Saudi Foreign Minister expressed their readiness to work with the mission in Libya to restore safety and establish stability, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Bin Farhan also expressed their rejection of foreign interference in the Libyan file, pointing to the need to stop it, according to what was reported by the Saudi Foreign Ministry.
The meeting discussed means of advancing the political process in Libya, in addition to their review of international efforts to resolve the crisis, according to the Saudi Foreign Ministry.
In mid-January, Saudi Arabia confirmed its support for the Libyan-Libyan solution, under the auspices of the United Nations, during a joint statement with Egypt issued by the ministerial meeting between the two countries in Riyadh.
