Thiruvananthapuram ∙ The road camera caught a young man riding his wife’s scooter with a woman. When the picture captured by the camera came from the motor vehicle department to the phone of the RC owner’s wife, a family fight and beating took place. Finally, the husband was arrested by the police on the complaint of his wife that he had beaten her and her three-year-old child. The incident took place in Karamana police station.
Police said: A young man and a woman riding a scooter without wearing a helmet were caught on camera and the fine and picture of this was sent as a message to the RC owner’s phone. The wife started a fight by asking who was the woman behind the scooter. The young man said that he was a passer-by and that he had given him a lift, but the problem did not end. After the argument, the wife complained that she and the baby were beaten and the husband was arrested. The youth, a native of Idukki, was produced in the court.
