LUXEMBOURG-CITY – Motorists using the Serra roundabout tunnel will have to change their habits from Monday August 22 to Saturday September 17.
Road users who use the Serra roundabout tunnel daily will have to change their habits from Monday 22 August. The City of Luxembourg and the Kirchberg Fund announced via a press release that maintenance work on the infrastructure will take place for almost a month, precisely from Monday August 22 to Saturday September 17.
During this period, the tunnel linking Kirchberg to the A1 motorway – which came into service in November 2015 – will be closed to traffic in both directions. A diversion will be set up by the Serra roundabout, it is specified. The main works undertaken will consist of renovating the curbs inside the tunnel and revising/repairing the gutters present in the infrastructure.
