Rock for People, which opens the 360 festival summer in Hradec Park from June 12 to 15, presents the Czechoslovak scene that will complement the already announced JAR, Vypsana fiXu or The Ecstasy Of Saint Theresa. Fans can look forward to, for example, the distinctive singer and rapper Annet X, the legendary Mňága a Žďorp, one of the most listened-to CZ performers abroad Redzed, the punk star Visací Zámek, the three-time winner of the Anděl Prize Smack One or the oldest firemen’s brass band Božejáci.
“The beauty of Rock for People lies, among other things, in its variety of genres, from rock to pop, punk, rap, but also, for example, serious music or dulcimer music. This approach is also reflected in the CZ/SK scene,” says festival director Michal Thomes and adds: “Every year we also give space within the Czech scene to young, undiscovered talents, who will again this year get the opportunity to compete for a performance at the festival.” Other announced performers include Skyline, Skywalker, Sofian Medjmedj, Xavier Baumaxa and Airmen.
The main stars of the 29th edition of Rock for People, who will perform on the biggest stage in Europe called “Fat Lady”, will be the recent winners of the Brit Awards Bring Me The Horizon, punk-rock legends The Offspring, the darling of the Z generation Yungblud and one of the most successful electronic bands all time The Prodigy. Headliners will be joined by unfettered rocker Avril Lavigne, Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor in a solo project, hard-hitting metallers Parkway Drive, the legendary Pendulum or the Dogstar band with star bassist Keanu Reeves. Popular among Czech music fans, punk-rockers Sum 41 will play their last festival show in the Czech Republic at the upcoming Rock for People. Recently, the organizers also announced the official Rock for People 2024 afterparty, which will take place under the baton of rock’n’roll favorites Palaye Royale on June 17 at the Sono club in Brno.

After the current edition of festival tickets are sold out, tickets at a higher price will follow.
