In the spring, Rodney Foungala will also be active in the Teplice club, who, like the Serbian striker Miloš Kapur and the Lithuanian stopper Nojus Vytis Audinis, passed the tests during the winter training period in the past weeks and will play for the third division B team during the spring.
The 22-year-old French defender, whose full name is Jean Patou Rodney Foungala, comes to Teplice on a transfer from the divisional SK Český Brod, where in the fall of last year he played in 8 competitive matches in two months, in which he scored a total of 4 goals.
Rodney completed a complete winter training with the Teplice B team, including preparatory matches, as well as a training session, which took place last week at the football complex in Roudnice nad Labem, two weeks before the start of the spring part of the third league competition.
On Tuesday, February 20, 2024, the club’s sports department managed to administratively complete his transfer from Český Brod, and his subsequent registration at FK Teplice was also successful.
Rodney can therefore participate without any problems in the upcoming spring part of the Czech Football League, which will be started by the B team of Sklarů already next week on Sunday, March 2, 2024 at the UMT stadium Na Stínadlech, where they will host FK Chlumec nad Cidlinou from 11:00 in the morning.
