“That is correct. Offers have been received (for Zalazar, Anm. d. Red.),” said S04 sporting director André Hechelmann after a friendly match between FC Schalke 04 and Spelle-Venhaus on Saturday (July 1, 3-0). The club is now examining the requests.
“First of all, we have to think about it,” Hechelmann continued. He emphasized the good negotiating position: “Rodri (Rodrigo Zalazar, Anm. d. Red.) has a three-year contract here. We are totally relaxed at first.”
There is still no movement in any direction. This means that Zalazar, who is very popular in Brazil in particular, can still stay with the S04, his working paper is dated June 30, 2026 (further S04 transfer news at RUHR24).
