Cristiano Ronaldo ignored an offer from David Beckham to join Inter Miami in order to continue with Manchester United.
Beckham is trying to strengthen his club’s ranks to compete in the American League, but his attempt failed, following he was told that Ronaldo was not for sale.
There was news regarding Bayern Munich and Chelsea’s interest in the Portuguese legend, but despite the disappointing season for United, Ronaldo is expected to activate the option to extend his contract with the Red Devils for an additional 12 months.
The option of Ronaldo’s continuation with the English club will relieve the new coach, Eric Ten Hag, who will meet the player today (Monday) with the start of United training in preparation for the new season.
