Former Brazil striker Ronaldo went on a 500 km bike ride after Valladolid’s promotion to the Spanish top division.
Ronaldo, who has owned a 51% stake in Valladolid since 2018, promised at the end of last season that he would make the trip after the club’s return to La Liga.
– I promised that if we return to La Liga, I will pass the Camino de Santiago. I will do it on a bike since I can’t run. It will be wonderful. I know that I will suffer physically, but it will be an unforgettable experience,” said Ronaldo, quoted by The Guardian.
Also this year, the two-time world champion in the Brazilian national team became the owner of Cruzeiro.
