In order to recover the essence of the popular games and avoid a sedentary lifestyle in girls and boys, the head of government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaumannounced the realization of the Traditional Games Festival in the Monument to the Revolution.

When and how will it be done:
The Traditional Games Festival will take place on August 18 to 20 on the esplanade of Monument to the Revolution and it will be completely free. The purpose of this event is to reactivate community coexistence, encourage physical activity and promote health care in infants. However, parents will also be able to participate in each of the available activities.

- “The challenges”: to play soccer shells, tochito and futbeis.
- “Track”: for bicycle and avalanche activities.
- “The backyard”: to jump the rope, the spring and the little plane, as well as play burnt, enchanted and stop.
- “La kermese”: for recreational activities such as weddings, jail, pin the tail on the donkey, ring the bottle and concession stands.
- “The games”: to play balero, yoyo, marbles, spinning top, matatena, and board games such as: snakes and ladders, lottery, chopsticks, goose and jenga.
