Roscosmos and NASA cosmonauts celebrated the New Year together on the ISS

Roscosmos and NASA cosmonauts celebrated the New Year together on the International Space Station (ISS), one of the members of the Russian crew, Dmitry Petelin, told TASS.

According to him, he and his colleagues Sergei Prokopiev and Anna Kikina cooked together their version of the Olivier salad with the addition of corn instead of green peas, which ended on the ISS, as well as a cake from the “international” set of products. After that, they, along with NASA astronauts Nicole Mann, Josh Kassada and Francisco Rubio, celebrated the holiday in the Russian segment of the station.

“We watched the movie “Operation Y” and Shurik’s other adventures,” the astronauts also laughed. We talked a lot, shared the traditions of the Russian New Year,” Mr. Petelin told the agency.
