Users on social networks report disturbances in front of the Universidad del Valle, Meléndez headquarters, south of the city. According to shared videos, traffic on the Pasoancho road had been blocked.
“Some people, no more than 8 or 10, at the Universidad del Valle tried to block the road in front of Unicentro and caused panic by throwing potato bombs,” said Secretary of Security and Justice Carlos Soler Parra.
“A quadrant of the National Police was present and some people from next to the University and from inside, threw three potato bombs at the patrol, without any affectation,” said Soler.
From the Ministry of Mobility they report that at this time the blockades continue at the height of Calle 13 with Carrera 100 and the traffic agents are carrying out the respective road closures.
