In early December 2022, it was revealed via Wrestling News that WWE was planning to stage a Ronda Rousey title defense against Raquel Rodriguez for the Royal Rumble. But a few days after this news, the Baddest Woman On The Planet lost her SmackDown belt to a Charlotte Flair who had just made her comeback.
According to information from Fightful, Ronda Rousey was indeed scheduled to make a singles match at the Royal Rumble. Except WWE’s December plans have changed since the wrestler is no longer scheduled for the Premium Live Event which will kick off the road to WrestleMania 39 and which will take place this Saturday, January 28.
In short, Ronda Rousey should not appear during the Royal Rumble 2023… unless there is a surprise.
