Having become more expensive than petrol, diesel regains its place in the price hierarchy at the pump in Luxembourg and once again becomes the cheapest fuel. Gasoline is barely dropping.
The bearish momentum started at the beginning of the month on the price of diesel, is continuing very clearly. From Thursday the diesel will be sold 1,763€ per liter in Luxembourg. This represents a gain of 5.5 cents per liter at the pump.
At the end of April, several consecutive increases had caused the price of diesel to jump by around ten centimes per litre. so that he had become more expensive than gasoline at the beginning of this month. With this marked drop, diesel is regaining its place in the hierarchy of fuel prices in Luxembourg.
Remember that it was 10 cents more expensive (€1.86) on May 3.
The liter of lead-free 95 will pass to 1,782€ (-0.8 cents) and that of SP 98 – the most expensive of all fuels – goes to 1,873€ per liter (-0.9 cents).
For households, oil heating will cost a little less. The liter of heating diesel 50 ppm goes to €1.248 (-0.58 cents), and also to €1.248 for 10 ppm (-0.57 cents).
