Prices for the most powerful consumer graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 have decreased three times compared to March. This was reported by the portal “Gazeta.ru” with reference to the head of the procurement group of the “Components” direction of the retailer “Citilink” Alexei Rusakov.
In early spring, the RTX 3090 cost more than ₽450 thousand, but now it can be found at a price of ₽160 thousand. Less efficient, but popular among gamers and ordinary users, video cards have also fallen significantly in price. In particular, the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER will cost ₽37 thousand – four times cheaper than in March.
On average, the cost of video cards has decreased by about 40% in three months. Two factors contributed to this – the depreciation of the Russian ruble against the US dollar and the decrease in the value of cryptocurrencies.
