The protein food market goes far beyond shakes and cereal bars. Rudolph Snacks, belonging to the Rudolph Company, arrived in Brazil to boost the snacks market with a protein product made from pork rinds and pururuca.
“Brazil has variations of corn, wheat and potato products, so it is very difficult to innovate within this category always using the same ingredients. Rudolph presents a protein and low carb snack. It is a new product and not a format of something that already exists”, says Lucas Petry Mueller, commercial director of operations at Rudolph Snacks in Brazil.
A Rudolph Snacks company targets private label market in Brazil
Rudolph Snacks aims to serve ready-to-eat snacks and snack companies. “The private label market continues to gain strength in Brazil, presenting itself as a promising market. Therefore, any food company that wants to have its snack line can be our client”, explains Lucas.
Certified and inspected by SIF – Federal Inspection Service -, Rudolph Snacks is in a category that has grown 60% in the last five years, with a forecast growth of another 30% by 2025. “We operate in a niche in this market and we have arrived to be reference in the crackling and pururuca segment in Brazil. We aim to grow 30, 40% in the next three years”, highlights the commercial director of Rudolph Snacks.
With a modern and technological factory, the company operates throughout the entire process. “We are partners in our client’s business. We’re here to fry and package for you, but that’s not all. We have the knowledge and experience of how the product must be marketed to perform well and we can assist our client in category management, production and development of the idea up to the location where the product will be positioned for sale”, says Lucas.
Factory in Curitiba PR
With an initial investment of R$20 million and located in the metropolitan region of Curitiba, Paraná, the Rudolph Snacks is the largest in the pork segment in the country, with the mission of making life easier for companies that wish to produce the snack in Brazil, delivering them ready for sale. “Production is extremely complex to monitor and monitor and it does not pay for companies to produce incorrectly or adapt factories to acquire licenses”, concludes the commercial director of Rudolph’s operations in Brazil.
Sobre a Rudolph Snacks
A company of the Rudolph Foods International Group, which has almost 70 years of experience in the manufacture of pork rinds in the United States, Mexico and Europe, Rudolph set up shop in the city of Curitiba/PR to serve the Brazilian market.
