RURA11: get to know Itaú Asset’s Fiagro

RURA11 is the code for Fiagro Imobiliário by Itaú Asset, which invests in agro-industrial production chains, through a diversified portfolio of private credit assets.

The fund was listed on B3 in March 2022 with an initial value of BRL 10.01 per share. In addition, the public offering raised R$ 600 million. This was the first Fiagro released by the group.

According to Sergio Goldstein, head of structured credit at Itaú Asset, a product like fiagro tends to help agribusiness grow and contribute to innovation and development with good returns for investors.

The fund works via private credit bonds linked to agribusiness, such as CRAs, LCAs, LCIs and CRIs, in addition to shares in FIDCs, FIIs and Fiagros.

RURA11 income and allocations

RURA11 has a diversified portfolio with the purchase of debts from different areas of agribusiness. In this sense, there is the possibility of allocation in industries of inputs, agroindustries and rural producers.

Thus, according to Itaú Asset, the fund seeks a long-term net return of CDI + 3.0% to 3.5% per year, with monthly payments and the possibility of capital gains.

In addition, the fund is exempt from Income Tax on earnings for individuals. The RURA11 management fee is 1% per year, with a performance fee of 20% on CDI + 1%.

The fund closed the month of July 2023 with 88% of its equity allocated to agro credit, informs Itaú Asset.
