According to information from the Defense portfolio, the map would have been found among the documentation captured by Russian troops from the fourth brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, as part of the intervention initiated by Moscow on February 24.

According to the information, in its daily press part of the spokesman for the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashénkov, Moscow has information that it described as reliable that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU, for its acronym transliterated in Ukrainian), with the support of Western countries, it prepares a provocation that foresees the use of toxic substances against civilians.

Konashenkov said about it: “We know for sure that, with the support of Western countries, the SBU is preparing a provocation with the use of poisonous substances against civilians. The purpose of the provocation is to accuse Russia of using chemical weapons against the population. of Ukraine… I want to officially declare that in the units of the Russian Armed Forces involved in the military operation, there are not and cannot be chemical ammunition,” he noted.

In that sense, he threw a dart at the United States: “Russia, unlike the United States, has long complied with its international obligations by completely destroying all stocks of such weapons.”

In fact, this very day, the spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Zhao Lijian, recalled that the United States has the obligation to comply with the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) and also to offer clarification on the issues of concern to the international community in this regard.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Defense specified that the Russian forces take under their control the facilities located in the occupied territory and guarantee their security in order to avoid any provocation by the Ukrainian nationalists.

On February 24, Russia launched a military operation to, according to the Kremlin, demilitarize and denazify Ukraine. In the south of Ukraine, the Russian army took control of the Kherson region, Melitopol, Berdyansk and blockaded Mariupol.
