Chinese and Russian warplanes reportedly flew close to Japan during the Tokyo Quad Summit. The allegations were made by Japanese Foreign Minister Nobuo Kishi. He said the Japanese government had expressed dissatisfaction with Russia and China over the incident.
The warplanes did not cross the border. But this is the fourth time since November that warplanes from both countries have flown near Japan. The Quad leaders said in a joint statement that some countries were deliberately trying to change the situation in the region.
