After their training in Morocco, some forty Gabonese soldiers decorated in Libreville

#Morocco : Nearly forty agents of the General Directorate of Special Services and Close Security of VIPs who have followed training courses in Morocco have just received their parchment in Libreville, in the presence of representatives of the two countries.

The crowning achievement of the training of the recipients is a perfect illustration of the military cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Gabonese Republic, especially since it serves bilateral interests and contributes to the development of the African continent which is so in need of stability. and security. In his speech, Morocco’s Ambassador to Gabon, Abdellah Sbihi, congratulated and paid a warm tribute to all those involved in this bilateral military cooperation. rejoiced in its stature from year to year.

“The military cooperation agreement between the Government of Morocco and the Government of the Gabonese Republic, signed in Rabat on February 7, 2018, was a new milestone on the path to strengthening ties between our two countries in this area. This agreement, which has formalized bilateral cooperation in the military field, aims to further promote and strengthen this cooperation in various aspects, including in particular education and training, the exchange of experience and expertise, participation in military exercises, the exchange of trainers, instructors and military trainees, as well as military medicine, to name but a few. This instrument is therefore open to increased collaboration, and we are all called upon to use its content to give more vigor to bilateral military cooperation and ultimately serve the interests of our two countries, in accordance with the will and to the high directives of our two Heads of State, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, and his brother, His Excellency Ali Bongo Ondimba,” said Abdellah Sbihi.

“The frank and rich collaboration that exists between our respective armies is a perfect illustration of this. I would like to recall, in this perspective, that Morocco has granted the Republican Guard 38 training places for the 2021-2022 academic year. These places concerned in particular higher defense courses, advanced and application courses, as well as specific courses. Trainees who returned in 2021 came back with their sesame. Once again, dear interns, congratulations! The hardest part begins, because it is now for each of you to put into practice the various teachings in order to improve your military and professional performance which may have made your career successful. My congratulations also go to the lucky recipients of the Republican Guard’s recognition medal.
