Russia launches large-scale missile attack on Ukraine’s neighbor Poland and once activated its air defense system

Ukraine’s prosecutor general said a missile attack in the northeastern Sumy region injured one civilian and damaged 26 buildings.
Viacheslav Chaus, the governor of the northern state of Chernihiv, said the area was “damaged” and added that authorities “have not yet revealed the specific location.”
Filip Pronin, the governor of Poltava state, said an unexploded missile landed in the backyard of a house in the central region of the state.
As the threat from Russian missiles increased, Ukraine’s neighbor Poland once activated its air defense system.
Russia said it had destroyed all targets in a series of attacks on Ukrainian munitions and drone facilities.
