Today, Sunday, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Russian air defense systems shot down 3 long-range British “Storm Shadow” missiles in one day, in addition to killing up to 545 Ukrainian servicemen.

The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement: “Russian air defense systems intercepted 3 Storm Shadow missiles and 6 HIMARS missiles within one day.”

In addition, 4 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed in the districts of Goftnevoye in Kharkiv Province, Kobani in Zaporizhia Province and Slavnoye in Donetsk Province.

The ministry also announced the killing of hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers on the various battle fronts in Kharkiv, Lugansk and Zaporizhia, and announced the destruction of many pieces and military equipment.

The ministry said that the Russian army managed to eliminate about 545 Ukrainian soldiers, noting that up to 340 of them were killed in the direction of Donetsk, by the forces of the “South” group.

Britain had provided Ukraine with long-range “Storm Shadow” cruise missiles earlier, while Kiev recently asked Berlin to provide it with “Taurus” cruise missiles, but it is not yet known whether Germany has agreed to Ukraine’s request.
