The death toll from the attack on the concert hall in the Russian region of Moscow, which occurred last week, rose to 140 dead and 360 injured, Russian authorities deplored this Wednesday.

“Unfortunately, one of the victims, who was previously in extremely serious condition, died. Doctors did everything possible,” Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko told reporters in Moscow.

The death toll from the attack in the concert hall stood at 139 dead before this new death.

In an earlier statement, a Health Ministry center told state media that the number of injured stood at 360 people.

“As of Wednesday morning, as a result of the terrorist attack, 360 people were injured, including 11 children,” a representative of the All-Russian Center for Disaster Medicine told the official TASS news agency.

The representative added that 92 victims were hospitalized, 63 people have already left hospitals, while outpatient care was provided to 205 injured.

Gunmen opened fire last Friday at the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow region.

The Investigative Committee said it had arrested 11 people, including the four perpetrators of the attack, in the Bryansk border region on their way to Ukraine.

On Sunday evening, Moscow’s Basmanny District Court charged the four perpetrators with terrorism and approved their pre-trial detention until May 22.
