Russian forces destroyed 14 Ukrainian command posts in the south and east

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Vasyl Maliuk as the new head of intelligence services on Monday, a day following the dismissal of his predecessor, Ivan Bakanov, and the country’s attorney general, Irina Venediktova, amid accusations once morest employees of both agencies for alleged acts of treason.

“Vasyl Maliuk, the first deputy head of the Intelligence Service of Ukraine, is in charge of temporarily carrying out the functions of the head of the Security Service of Ukraine,” reads the president’s decree, quoted by Ukrinform.
