“Laodicea”, the ship accused of transporting stolen Ukrainian grain, arrived in Syria. It came from Lebanon, where it had been seized since Saturday. This Thursday, finally, the Lebanese authorities authorized him to leave the port of Tripoli.
The ship is at the center of controversy, as Ukraine has accused Russia of stealing its crops from areas occupied by Putin’s troops and then illegally selling them abroad. He even claimed to have presented evidence of the irregular maneuvers.
kyiv declared itself “disappointed” by the green light that Lebanon gave for the ship’s departure.
