The State Duma adopted in the first reading a bill banning the sale of alcohol at points located in apartment buildings. State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin spoke regarding this.
“The decision taken today [о запрете „наливаек“] is a response to society’s request. <…> Regions will have the right to ban the sale of alcoholic beverages <…> at public catering points located in apartment buildings and in the areas adjacent to them,” – wrote Vyacheslav Volodin in his telegram channel. Even before this, the State Duma discussed a corresponding ban.
