It was claimed that Russia used North Korea’s Hwasong Type 11 ballistic missile to attack Ukraine.

Ukraine claimed that the fragments were North Korea’s Hwasong Type 11 ballistic missiles.

At the same time, it was reported that Russia has launched about 20 Hwasong Type 11 missiles since December of last year, causing many casualties.

″At least 24 civilians have been killed in enemy airstrikes, more than 100 civilians have been seriously injured and, above all, a logistics route is being established to supply weapons from North Korea to Russian territory.″

The Hwasong 11 is a solid-fuel short-range ballistic missile, also known as the ‘Viper’.

It is an improved version of the former Soviet-made missile and has a maximum range of 170 km.

Following Ukraine’s claims, the leaders of seven major countries plan to issue a joint statement condemning North Korea this weekend.

Related sanctions against North Korea are also continuing.

Britain imposed sanctions on shipping companies involved in transporting North Korean weapons to Russia, and the European Union also decided to include North Korea for the first time in sanctions against Russia to be announced on the 24th.

However, there is an analysis that the level of provocations may also increase as North Korea’s confidence increases based on the strengthened North Korea-Russia relationship.

″North Korea sees military cooperation between North Korea and Russia as the central axis of a new order that counters the United States. As a result, confidence in North Korea’s provocations has become much stronger than before.”

The UN High Commissioner for Personnel, who issued a statement calling for an end to the war in Ukraine on the second anniversary of the outbreak, said 91% of the 30,400 confirmed civilian casualties were killed by artillery shells and missiles.
