ALGIERS- The Algerian Insurance Company (SAA) and the automobile brand “Opel Algeria” signed, Monday in Algiers, a partnership agreement aimed at ensuring modern services and simplifying administrative procedures for the benefit of customers.
This agreement was co-signed by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Algerian Insurance Company (SAA), Youcef Benmicia and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the “Opel” brand in Algeria, Nassim Benguergoura.
Under this agreement, SAA will offer its insurance services directly to all Opel brand showrooms in Algeria, while benefiting from discounts on contract values.
The agreement also allows the introduction of “modern and flexible” digital means in terms of supporting policyholders, by offering “innovative” insurance solutions in order to simplify the operation of receiving offers and improve the quality of services provided to customers, according to the explanations provided during the signing ceremony.
In addition, the agreement makes it possible to carry out damage assessment and repair operations in Opel workshops in Algeria, the services being paid by SAA. In his speech on this occasion, Mr. Benmicia explained that this agreement represented the “birth of an exceptional partnership, which reflects the desire of both companies to offer modern services that meet international standards and are likely to make citizens’ lives easier.”
He added that the two companies also planned to participate in awareness campaigns on the risks of road accidents.
For his part, Mr. Benguergoura stressed that this agreement aimed to “simplify procedures for Opel customers, particularly in the event of a road accident. SAA takes care of the transport of the car from the place of accident at the Opel Algeria repair workshops and repair it using original parts, by a qualified team approved according to international standards.
He also noted that under this agreement, customers would benefit from discounts on spare parts ranging from 5 to 10%, in the points of sale and after-sales services of Opel Algeria, the number of which should reach 37 by the end of 2023, spread across the entire national territory.
