Embarking on a chaotic season, with a big upheaval behind the scenes, Atlanta was likely to hit hard as the “trade deadline” approached. The Hawks have long fueled rumors with John Collins as the first adjustment variable.
Nothing happened, Nate McMillan’s roster did not explode, and even got stronger with the arrival of Saddiq Beyas well as those of Garrison Mathews and Bruno Fernando from Houston.
