The Saemangeum World Jamboree, which was marred by overall poor preparation and insufficient measures, ended its 12-day schedule with a K-pop performance yesterday.

About 40,000 scouts are returning to their home countries sequentially from today.

Last night, the World Cup Stadium in Sangam-dong, Seoul where the K-pop concert was held.

More than 40,000 Jamboree participants responded with enthusiastic cheers and enthusiastic support to the splendid performances of 19 teams, including girl group New Jeans.

After the performance, the crew exiting the arena still look refreshed.

″It was my first time seeing a K-pop concert, (the singers were really cool. I will say it was an amazing experience for my family, friends and people in my country.″

A large-scale procession that had to be disbanded after being divided into 1,400 tour buses.

The event ended without a hitch with surrounding traffic control until 11:00 p.m. and the deployment of 2,500 police officers and 200 firefighters on site.

Members from each country who finished the competition schedule gathered at the airport to depart sequentially from today.

“It was a dream time for us. It was not just a country, it was a whole new world.”

As the crew’s departure schedule and the Liberation Day holiday overlapped, the number of airport users increased by 20,000 more than usual, causing congestion at the departure hall.

″I took the bus early to get to the airport, but I have to wait another six hours. It may take a while, but that’s okay.”

Incheon International Airport handed out about 10,000 safety kits and prepared a separate waiting room for crew members to return home safely.

Today alone, about 10,000 members leave the country, and by the 15th, about 34,000 members will return to their respective countries.

Although the official schedule for the tournament has ended, a Korean culture experience booth has been set up for members who are staying in Korea for a little longer.

The experience booth operated by the Seoul Tourism Organization at Seoul Plaza for two days offers traditional games and a 50-minute bus tour of Seoul.
