General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, attended the graduation ceremony of the 31st joint command and staff course at the headquarters of the Command and Staff College. The graduation ceremony began with the national anthem of the UAE and the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, then Brigadier General Saeed Salmeen Al-Alawi, Commander of the Joint Command and Staff College, gave a speech in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation to team His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his presence and sponsorship of the 31st graduation ceremony, and the college’s welcome With Their Highnesses, Excellencies, Excellencies, leaders and managers from the high attendance.
His Highness and the attendees watched a short video that reviewed the course of the course from its inception to the graduation stage. This was followed by the announcement of the general result of the course, and the distribution of certificates to the first graduates and graduates of brotherly and friendly countries. The honoring ceremony was attended by Lieutenant-General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Matar Salem Ali Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense, and a number of senior officers of the Ministry and the Armed Forces.
In his speech at the ceremony, Brigadier General Saeed Salmeen Al-Alawi, Commander of the Joint Command and Staff College, said: It is a blessed day for the homeland and its leadership, which has been renewed every year for thirty-one years, in the interest of our leadership in our armed forces represented by the Ministry of Defense, provided that a regiment after another graduates, providing leaders and units with competencies from Leaders and staff bodies, to assume high leadership positions, and today they are in the first row of leadership, and the College is proud of them year after year. He stressed that the young United Arab Emirates, with evidence and proof, has taken firm steps towards excellence and leadership during the past fifty years, and looks optimistically towards the next fifty years with a clear and well-studied vision and strategy after another whose essence is human building, and draws the most wonderful and most beautiful images of cohesion between the people and their leadership.
He added that: Our peace-loving and tolerance-loving nation was founded and built by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and was led and empowered by the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, who was a father to his people. He stressed that the blessings of God are many and countless. He pointed out that the mission and vision of the college are fixed in the foundations and changing in methods year after year.
