Sales of Apple Watches Series 9 and Ultra 2 begin in Brazil!

Just over a week after being launched in the United States and much of the world, the Apple Watches Series 9 e Ultra 2 can now be officially purchased in Brazil!

Announced with only incremental new features compared to their direct predecessors, the two watches are equipped with the SiP S9, which represents the biggest change in the chip department among Apple watches at least since the S6.

It is thanks to the S9, in fact, that both the Series 9 and the Ultra 2 will soon feature the new double-tap gesture, which allows you to interact with the watches without having to touch their screens — something very useful in moments when your other hand Are you busy. The gesture controls the primary functions of each application and will be available in October.

Apple also took advantage of the new chip’s greater energy efficiency to increase the maximum brightness of the new models’ screens. More specifically, the Apple Watch Series 9 can now reach a peak of 2,000 nits (versus 1,000 nits for the Series 8), while the Ultra 2 can reach up to 3,000 nits (versus 2,000 nits for the first-generation Ultra) — the brightest display ever seen on an Apple device.

In addition to the S9, the new watches also feature a second-generation ultra-wideband chip for greater integration with the Search network (Find My) and with HomePods. As demonstrated by Apple in the watch presentation keynote, now simply bring the watch closer to the smart speaker to view music and playlist recommendations.

This new chip also made it possible for the Precise Search (Precision Finding) to Apple Watches, allowing users to quickly locate their iPhones, just as if they were AirTags, for example.

The two models are also some of Apple’s first completely carbon-neutral devices. To do this, simply combine an aluminum Apple Watch Series 9 with one of the new sports loop bracelets (which have already been launched for the second-generation Apple Watch SE) or an Apple Watch Ultra 2 with an Alpina loop or Trail loop bracelet.

In Brazil, the starting price of the Apple Watch Series 9 it’s from R$5.000while the Apple Watch Ultra 2 go out R$9.700. Shipping times for both models of Apple Watches are currently just one business day.
