A student at the Salzburg University of Education, Stefan Zweig developed a teaching example for elementary school lessons on the occasion of the “Day of Rare Diseases”. An international jury of experts has now awarded the project.
Manuel Preishuber, who himself already teaches at the elementary school in Höhnhart in neighboring Upper Austria, did not choose an easy topic for his master’s degree at the Salzburg Stefan Zweig University of Education on Akademiestrasse: “Dealing with rare diseases at school” was the name of the online Seminar by university professor Nicola Sommer. “Teachers should be prepared to deal with this topic in class.”
