Entertainment and productivity in a portable format: Samsung launches the Galaxy Tab A9 and A9+ in Austria. Samsung is bringing the new Galaxy Tab A9 series to Austria. Available in two sizes, the series combines high video and audio quality with fast connectivity – meeting everyday entertainment and productivity needs in a portable format. The two models also serve as a control center in the Galaxy ecosystem, which offers a seamless user experience across multiple devices.

With its 11-inch display, the Galaxy Tab A9+ offers users the opportunity to immerse themselves in their favorite films, shows or games. Users of the Galaxy Tab A9+ can lose themselves in cinematic experiences thanks to a refresh rate of 90 Hz – for lag-free gaming or scrolling – and enjoy immersive sound thanks to the quad speakers supported by Dolby Atmos. In the top version, the Galaxy Tab A9+ has a 5G connection for fast and uninterrupted streaming. The Galaxy Tab A9 offers an 8.7-inch display and has dual speakers and LTE connectivity. Both tablets have a slim design and a smooth surface on the back, making them easy to handle. The Galaxy Tab A9 and A9+ offer the largest RAM and storage capacity ever available in the Galaxy Tab A series. The Galaxy Tab A9+ comes onto the market in the top configuration with 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage.
Samsung also has its sights set on the business market and education sector with the Galaxy Tab A9+. With Samsung DeX, the model allows multitasking at PC level and the Multi-Active Window function enables a split screen view for up to three apps at the same time. Users of the Galaxy Tab A series can now record their screen with Screen Recorder in order to be able to access information or content later.

Additionally, the new Galaxy Tab A series ensures that data is safe and secure through Samsung Knox, Samsung’s multi-layered security platform. With the Security & Privacy Dashboard, users can easily check which data permissions have been granted to apps and can edit this authorization directly. With Private Share, content is encrypted before it is shared. The sender can set access permissions, expiration dates and more so they don’t have to worry about sending sensitive information. And with Secure Wi-Fi, you can use the Galaxy Tab A9 or A9+ on the go without having to worry about risky shared internet networks. Internet traffic is encrypted and tracking apps are blocked, so browsing is private and secure.
Samsung Kids helps children move safely in the digital world. With a simple setup, parents and caregivers can control their children’s digital activities, access settings, create child profiles, set play times and monitor the content consumed. The Samsung Galaxy “Edutainment” also offers entertaining and engaging content on the device.

Samsung Smart Switch is the easiest way to transfer all data to a new Galaxy tablet. This way you can back up your contacts, photos, music and much more if you want to change your tablet or smartphone. Smart Switch is compatible with most operating systems and also transfers device settings if desired.
