After the update arrived in Europe, it was time for American users of the Galaxy S21 line to receive the February 2024 security package on their devices.
Arriving first for models not tied to an operator in the northern hemisphere country, the software update comes under the name version G99xU1UESAFXAB and, as it only contains the current month’s security package, it comes in a reduced size.
The package fixes 72 vulnerabilities security features present in the previous version and can now be downloaded by owners of the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra who are in the United States.
In Brazil, we still have no news about the arrival of the security package in question for devices here. However, following the release flow that is happening in other countries, it is likely that the February security package will appear here very soon.
Despite having been launched in 2021 with Android 11, the S21 line devices should still have a good flow of updates ahead, receiving up to Android 15, in addition to subsequent security package updates.
