Samsung has announced a new “Custom Voice Creator” feature for its Bixby voice assistant built into the company’s smartphones.
The device, with the help of artificial intelligence, will allow the owner to clone his voice, which will answer calls on his behalf.
All that is required of a busy user is to type a message that explains why, for example, he cannot pick up the phone. The voice clone will transmit the message itself. This way you can talk to someone on the phone without picking up the phone.
How secure this feature is in terms of privacy is unknown.
Bixby Assistant is only available in English, Korean and Chinese.
