Santos announced this Friday the dismissal of the Uruguayan coach Diego Aguirredue to the poor results he has had in the month he was in charge of the Brazilian club.
The dismissal of the coach and his technical commission occurred after the 0-3 defeat against Cruzeiro on the twenty-third matchday of the league, a result that leaves the club that Pelé elevated in the relegation spots.
Aguirre arrived at Santos at the beginning of August and led the team in five games, with a record of four losses and one victory.
Santos has already fired three coaches this season, in which it has spent the entire time hovering around the relegation zone.
