Last weekend, Pietro Lombardi and his girlfriend Laura Maria Rypa (26) shared the happy news with a cute couple photo on Instagram: They are expecting children for the first time. While the couple was promptly showered with congratulations, ex-wife Sarah Engels has remained silent – until now.
Under a recently published picture, the singer and the influencer thank fans and friends for the countless messages. Engels now speaks for the first time in the comments: “I wish you both the best and that after the bumpy start everything will turn out well.” The 29-year-old is alluding to the on-off relationship between her ex-husband and his new partner. She also says: “A baby is the greatest and most beautiful gift on earth.”
Sarah and Pietro’s close relationship – despite the separation
Although Sarah and Pietro have been separated for around six years, the two are close friends – not least because of Alessio (7). Their son saw the light of day in 2015 and has been the pride of both of them ever since.
In the meantime, the musician has also become a mother for the second time. With her new husband Julian Engels (29) she had a daughter Solea Liana eight months ago. Both Sarah and Pietro prove again and again on their social media channels that the former “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” dream couple works well as a blended family.
