Industrialist Anand Mahindra says that Satyagraha is the biggest revolution even though it is not in the list of world revolutions. His response was to share the list of ten revolutions that changed the world published by World of Statistics. Anand wrote on Twitter that Satyagraha was relatively silent and non-violent in nature, but it was this movement that won freedom for the most populous country in the world today.

The French Revolution (1789-1799) is the first in the list of ten revolutions that changed the world. The Russian Revolution (1917) was the second and the Chinese Communist Revolution (1949) was the third. Cuban Revolution (1953-1959), Glorious Revolution in England (1688), Taiping Rebellion (1850-1864), Yong Tuk Revolution (1908), Haitian Revolution (1791-1804), American Revolution (1765-1783), Iranian Revolution (1978) -1979) are next in the list.
