Saudi alliance intensifies airstrikes | World | Deshabhimani

Sana
The Saudi-led military alliance has stepped up airstrikes in Yemen after Houthi rebels in Yemen claimed responsibility for the Abu Dhabi attack. Massive damage was reported in Houthi strongholds. The head of the Houthi Aviation Academy, Abdullah Qasim al-Junaid, and his wife and 25-year-old son were killed, the Houthi news agency reported.

This is the largest air strike since 2019. UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has strongly criticized the airstrikes.
Guterres said everyone should be prepared to exercise maximum restraint and prevent conflict from escalating. The UAE has called for a UN Security Council meeting to discuss the issue.
