Jeddah | Mick Schumacher injured in Saudi Formula One Grand Prix in Jeddah With four minutes and 58 seconds left in Q2 to qualify, Mick’s car crashed in the 12th turn. Mick’s car was traveling at 170 mph when it crashed into a wall on the side of the track. Immediately after the race, the red flag was hoisted and the injured Mic was airlifted to King Fahd Armed Forces Hospital in Jeddah by air. Mick has overcome the danger level. The accident happened during a fight to qualify for Q3.
The race resumed an hour after the accident. Mick Schumacher is the son of seven – time world champion Michael Schumacher. Schumacher will miss the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix due to injury in the qualifying round.
