Moscow: Six dead in school shooting in Russia. The BBC reported, citing Russian media, that children and a school security officer were killed. 20 people were injured.
The shooting happened at a school in the central Russian city of Izhevsk. The shooting took place in a school with around 1,000 students and 80 teachers. According to reports, the assailant came to the school with two pistols. The assailant, who shot the children continuously, shot himself dead after the shooting
The reason for the violence is unclear. The teachers and students were evacuated from the school after the shooting.
