The fastest growing refugee crisis since World War II. This is how the United Nations described the Ukrainian refugee situation. In some cases, more than 200,000 people fled Ukraine every day at the beginning of March. Among them are children, who should not only receive accommodation in the target country, but also education. The schools in Zug are preparing intensively so that soon Ukrainian schoolchildren who have fled can be taught. “The cooperation between the education department and school management is close. After Corona, we remained in crisis mode in terms of responsibilities and exchange,” explains Education Director Stephan Schleiss on request.
