The SRPA shares an incredible story. A 14-year-old Yorkshire was found in Alleur, in the province of Liège, twelve years after being kidnapped.
It was a lady who found him on Thursday while he was wandering in Alleur. She took her to a veterinarian who discovered that the dog belonged to a resident of Oreye. She then launched a call on social networks to find the owner.
Scott’s family no longer believed in it: “I always thought he had been run over,” testified Romain, the owner’s son, in an interview with L’Avenir. The young man also shared the video of the reunion on Facebook.
“A story that reminds us how important it is to have our animals identified,” concludes the SRPA.
