Julian Draxler is having a season to forget at Benfica. The loanee from Paris Saint-Germain now has to cope with the next blow in the neck in Lisbon.
The Benfica chapter has ended prematurely for Julian Draxler!
Like the Portuguese newspaper Record reported, the loan player from Paris Saint-Germain has to have ankle surgery, which is associated with the end of the season.
Bitter for the German international After Enzo Fernandez’s move to Chelsea, the 29-year-old had hopes that he would be able to play more in Lisbon.

Benfica successful – Draxler not
A season to forget. Despite the forthcoming surgery, the attacking midfielder will remain at the Tejo and begin his rehabilitation. Draxler is still on loan from PSG to Benfica until the end of the season.
